Aust dollar drops below 77 US cents
The Australian dollar dropped two cents overnight after a larger than expected rise
in US inflation raised interest rate concerns in the US.
At 0530 (AEDT) this morning the Australian currency was worth 76.81 US cents, after
having dipped as low as 76.45 US cents.
The Australian dollar last night closed at 78.79 US cents in Sydney.
