Qld: Policemen charged over payments to criminals
A former and a serving police officer from central Queensland are among three people
who'll face charges of perverting the course of justice next month.
They include the former head of the Criminal Investigation Branch in Rockhampton ..
former Detective Senior Sergeant GRAHAM RICHARDS .. according to ABC Radio.
The Crime and Misconduct Commission says the charges relate to Operation Capri .. an
ongoing investigation into relationships between police and convicted criminals.
It includes investigation of instances where police have allegedly paid prisoners for
information.
